Hilda's House of Hope Empowers Lives Through Compassionate Support, Sober Living Housing, and Socical Services
This organization was founded in 2021 in honor of the late Hilda E. Johnson, the former Director of Essence of Hope, Inc
located in Atlanta Georgia.
From 2007-2017 Hilda dedicated her life to the cause of ending homelessness, addiction, and hunger! The orginazation has housed over 1,000 citizens year-to-date and feed record numbers of communities.
After five different battles with Cancer Hilda's time with us came to an end. In early 2018 The new Executive Director, Mia Crew alongside others picked up the torch and continued the mission Hilda started so long ago.
In 2021 the decision was made to establish Hilda's House of Hope in conjuction with Essence of Hope, to further the mission of the late Hilda E. Johnson and truly honor her purpose and cause.

Make a difference by donating to Hilda's House of Hope. Each client that stays at our facility receive: a hygiene kit, fresh sheets, towel, blanket, and toiletries.
They will also have access to food in the home and social services as needed. Its unimaginably cold when the concreate is your bed! Give A WARM NIGHT IN!
